Budget-Friendly Comfort SUV | 2013 Chevy Equinox LT Drive your Dreams
If you've been shopping around Milan, Aurora, Harrison, Greater Cincinnati, or Northern Kentucky for a comfortable, budget-friendly SUV, this 2013 Chevrolet Equinox LT deserves a closer look. Available from the pros at Tom Tepe Autocenter in Milan, IN, and Car Country in Aurora, IN, and Harrison, OH, it blends everyday practicality with the comfort and tech today's drivers want.
The efficient 2.4L 4-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic with overdrive give you smooth acceleration and solid fuel economy, ideal for commuting into Cincinnati or running errands across Southeast Indiana. Four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes help the Equinox feel confident and composed on twisty backroads and I-275 alike.
Inside, the LT trim feels welcoming from the moment you open the door. Deluxe front bucket seats and an 8-way power driver's seat with lumbar help you find the perfect driving position for long days of work, school, and weekend activities. Manual climate control keeps things simple and easy to adjust, while generous head- and leg-room give passengers real space to stretch out.
Tech is a major plus. Chevrolet MyLink Touch with AM/FM/CD/MP3, Bluetooth for phone, and SIRIUSXM Satellite Radio lets you stream music, take hands-free calls, and keep everyone entertained on longer drives. The rear vision camera adds extra confidence when backing into tight spots around downtown or crowded school lots.
Everyday convenience is baked in: remote vehicle start is a game-changer on frosty Indiana mornings, power windows and locks make quick work of drive-thrus, and 17-inch aluminum wheels add a stylish touch to the Atlantis Blue Metallic exterior. With stability control, multiple airbags, and OnStar Directions & Connections capability, you'll appreciate the safety-minded engineering on every trip.

Bad engines
by Ggsm on Wednesday, February 01, 2023
If you're looking into buying any general motors vehicle with the 2.4L ecotec, do your due diligence before buying and you'll find a plethora of defects with this engine from faulty pcv systems that clog up in the cold and force a blow out of your rear main seal while you're driving and without warning, excessive oil consumption, to cheap pins in the timing chain assemly that like to come loose while you're driving, all of which can and will cause catastrophic engine failure. Simply googling the words "2.4L ecotech" well bring up a ton of results related to current and pending class actions against general motors over this engines poor design and GMs unwillingness to correct any of the problems with it. - 5.0
Roomy, Sporty, Smooth and Fast
by Big Guy on Thursday, June 22, 2017
We were looking for a vehicle for my wife to use around town but one that I could drive if need be; we tested 5 other models and picked the Equinox LTZ. Im 6 feet 5 inches tall and 275 pounds and easily fit in this vehicle. Even with the driver seat all the way back there is still plenty of leg room for the back passenger. The 6 cylinder is very responsive, smooth and quiet; you cannot feel the transmission shifting from gear to gear. The LTZ looks more expensive than what we paid for it and considering all of the high-tech gadgetry in the vehicle we feel the Equinox was a great buy. Love the OnStar feature, once you use it you have to have it. My wife really likes all of the safety features (back up camera, lane change warning, vehicle approaching, etc.)...the leather in this vehicle is great looking and I particularly like the red baseball stitching around the seats. Just something to set it apart. Overall a great vehicle. Will purchase again.
